Menu for party last week

It is always nice to successfully conclude a catering job. Here is the menu from Saturday.

Passed Apps:

Brie bites with lemon-honey marmalade and lavender

Toast points with shaved beef, garlic aioli, tomatoes, and cilantro micro greens

Buffet:

Pork tenderloin stuffed with feta and arugula with herb garganelli, sweet potatoes and roasted red peppers

Cold pasta salad with basil pesto, cold pesto grilled shrimp, and yellow grape tomatoes

Macaroni and cheese: smoked mozzarella and gouda with bacon and chives

Roasted chicken with figs, caramelized onions, rosemary, gorgonzola and orecchiette with spicy walnuts

Eggplant rollatini

Grilled Romaine Hearts with Caesar salad dressing

      Yeah, it was fast paced, but mostly smooth. They loved all of the food and had a good time, so that is all I can ask for (well and they paid me; that is always good.)
